These five songs were part of the collection of about 25 songs that I started the recording process of Dearestly with in 2015. Ultimately we picked the best songs to go on the record and there were a number of tracks that didn’t make it. Some of them I still really love, and they might end up on a future recording but they might still need some work, or they just didn’t fit the concept and sound of the album.

The songs I’m sharing with you as part of this Exclusive are five of my favourites from the list of cast-offs. Some are more produced than others, particularly Hold on Tight which we actually produced in the studio but cut it during the mixing process. Others are from pre-production sessions and a lot more raw but still capture the song in a really neat way. A few of these songs I still play live and you may have heard one in particular, River, on the Dearestly Release Tour. I hope you enjoy the songs, and who knows, you might hear them in a future recording!
